More articles

The journal, New Testament Abstracts (published three times a year; for further info, click here), is a good help for all those who try to stay updated in the steady flow of publications (books and articles) related to the study of the New Testament and related fields, and especially for those, who like me, in addition, have access to a rather minor library at their local institution.

The reception of Vol 2/2005 last week revealed the existence of the following studies, hitherto unknown to me:
D.A. DeSilva,
'Reading the Bible at Qumran, Alexandria and Ephesus,'
Ashland Theological Journal 36 (2004): 17-43.

L.H. Feldman,
'Philo, Pseudo-Philo, Josephus and Theodtus on the Rape of Dinah,'
Jewish Quarterly Review 94 (2003): 253-271.

H. Jacobsen,
'Philo, Lucretius and Anima,'
Classical Quarterly 54 (2004): 635-636.

H. Jacobsen,
'A Philonic Rejection of Plato,'
Mnemosyne (Leiden) 57(2004):488.

If you have any recent publications, or references to publications on Philo that should have been noted here, please inform me. You'll find my e-mail by clicking on my name at the top of this blog.
Have a nice day!
